If you’re trying to stay healthy and free of harmful chemicals, all natural products are the way to go. You can find all natural foods, drinks, soaps and even candles! It’s totally easy to say clean and natural these days. Many people, however, never stop to consider all natural dental products when shopping. Well, with Nature’s Answer Periobrite Toothpaste, you won’t have to worry about your toothpaste either.
Many people are particularly concerned about fluoride, mercury and other chemicals. Some are even allergic to them. With this toothpaste, you can put your worries to rest.
What’s in it?
You might ask, “How am I supposed to keep my teeth clean without fluoride?” Nature has your answer. There are a wide variety of herbs and natural ingredients in Nature’s Answer Periobrite Toothpaste which promote not just clean teeth but clean gums as well. Here’s the down-low on what’s in this toothpaste and how each ingredient keeps your mouth clean.
- CoQ10: It’s known to help a variety of conditions but few people know that it helps prevent periodontal disease (gum disease)!
- Folic Acid: Commonly found in many leafy greens, this B vitamin helps prevent plaque build up.
- Oregano: Not only does oregano spice up your pasta dishes, it brightens up your teeth as well! It’s antibacterial properties help keep your mouth free of harmful bacteria.
- Cinnamon: You know that cinnamon tastes great in desserts but did you know the spice also keeps your mouth clean Like oregano, cinnamon has antibacterial properties.
- Cloves: Strong tasting cloves will reduce oral pain and reduce the buildup of tartar at the same time. Don’t worry, the clove taste is not overwhelming in this toothpaste.
Other ingredients include some of the following: essential oils of: peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, sarsaparilla root and aloe vera. These account for the flavors of the toothpaste as well as some of the other cleansing properties.
What’s it like?
Surprisingly, Nature’s Answer Periobrite Toothpaste is pretty similar regular old toothpaste. It comes in a tube with a flip-cap and leaves your mouth feeling refreshed.
One thing that’s different is the taste. It’s got a minty flavor to it but you can definitely taste some of the herbs listed above. I found the taste to be refreshing but not overpowering at all. Some toothpastes almost burn your mouth they are so strongly flavored. This one is fairly low-key.
Another difference is the texture. Usually, your run-of-the-mill toothpastes foam like crazy, but this one produces hardly any foam at all. Some users were concerned about this but foamy toothpaste does not necessarily mean more effective toothpaste!
Nature’s Answer Periobrite works just as well as normal toothpaste but in some ways even better. I have issues with gum inflammation but after using it for about a week, I noticed a definite improvement in my gum health. Plus, my teeth felt cleaner than they had in awhile.
Many other users have reported the same experience. They noticed less tarter, less gum inflammation and whiter teeth. It seems like going all natural is a good decision for your dental health too!
There are two things to get used to with this toothpaste: the taste and the color.
The taste is not bad at all but takes some time getting used to. It took me a little while to get adjusted to the herbal flavor. Other users have noticed this issue as well. Maybe it’s just the combination of herbs but who knows. Again, I am not saying it tastes remotely bad at all. I like the taste, but it’s an adjustment from regular toothpaste. A small price to pay for cleaner teeth!
The other potential downside is the color. The toothpaste is a light brown which might be a little off putting to some people. I didn’t have any issues with it. Don’t worry, your teeth will end up whiter, not more brown.
One more minor thing to note; this toothpaste will bleach your clothes if you get a little bit of it on you. It’s just a sign of how concentrated and strong the toothpaste is!
I would recommend Nature’s Answer Periobrite Toothpaste to anyone who’s concerned about some of the ingredients in their normal toothpaste or even allergic to some of them. You can be rest assured that there are no nasty, harmful chemicals in this toothpaste. Instead, it’s filled with naturally sourced minerals, vitamins and a wide array of herbs. All of these ingredients have been shown to alleviate a variety of dental problems.
Again, the only real problems with this product are the herbal taste and the color. Both of these things just take a little time to get used to. I’d also recommend it to anyone who has issues with their regular toothpaste. It seems that nature might have the answer to your current dental problems.
